BOM from Order

What it does

For each order line whose description carries a product configuration, a Generate BOM button appears. It:

1. parses the chosen components — section, choice, SKU, price;
2. resolves each SKU to a Dolibarr product through a cascade: exact reference, then barcode, then a maker-reference extra field, then the learning table, then an approximate label match;
3. shows an editable review screen so you correct what the cascade could not decide;
4. creates a draft bill of materials linked to the order;
5. records the SKU-to-product matches, so the next generation needs less correction.

Several configurable products on one order produce several bills of materials, each linked back to it.

Requirements

• Dolibarr 18.0 or later, PHP 7.4+
• The native MRP module
• Order lines carrying a product configuration (MKL Product Configurator)
