Products Features

What it does

A product description field is where technical characteristics go to die: nobody can filter on it, and every catalogue ends up with three spellings of the same value. This module turns those characteristics into structured data.

• Features — the characteristic itself, with its own list and card;
• Values — the accepted values for a feature, so the vocabulary stays clean;
• Attribute sheets — full Dolibarr objects with their documents, notes, contacts and agenda tabs;
• a tab on the product card to assign them.

Configuration

• default type for a new feature;
• allow a custom value on a selection field, for the exception you cannot list in advance;
• enable filtering of the product list on features;
• show unassigned products, to find what has not been documented yet.

Requirements

• Dolibarr 20.0 or later, PHP 7.4+
• The native Products module
